PAK3KD (recombinant human PAK3 kinase domain)
PAK3KD is a recombinant wild type human PAK3 kinase domain (amino acids 246-544 of full-length human PAK3) expressed in E. coli and purified to near homogeneity. Overexpression of PAK3 has been detected in certain types of cancer. Mutations of PAK3 have been associated with learning disability and X-linked mental retardation.
Molecular Mass and Phosphorylation:
The calculated mass is 33,758. PAK3KD is phosphorylated on T421 and partially phosphorylated at additional sites with mass measured at 33,835 (1P), 33,915 (2P), 33,995 (3P).
Stability and Storage:
Stable at -70oC for 12 months from date of receipt. Protein should be thawed on ice. Protein can be flash-frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -70oC.
Applications:
Enzymatic studies, inhibitor screen, and selectivity profiling
High concentration available for crystallization
